Company president and CEO Sébastien Roy has been working with rubber flooring since age 16. He initially worked in rubber mat and mud-flap production, then in 2000 began installing rubber flooring with a new employer.
He founded his own business Entreprises S.R. in 2004, carving out a leading position in the field. In 2014, he became the official and exclusive distributor of IDS products for Canada and the northeastern United States.
In 2016, Poly-Mat began reworking mine belts, called the Multi-Groove, with a simple CNC. After 1 year of development and design, at the start of 2019, a new fully automated robot is now operational for the reworking of the mine belt, thus improving the production speed and the design, which was until now offered by the various companies.
In 2021, the Poly-Mat Multi-Groove changes its name, now we will talk about the Maverick, for its unique and non-conformist design.

Manufacturers’ warranties are based on normal use:
- Without detergent products
- Without contact with mineral or synthetic oils
